the middle of the month, the middle of the week, & the perfect time to 

celebrate the beautiful month of may with a little shopping soiree!

friday festivities

last friday night we had a blast selling at the style chicago designer shopping event and 

unveiling our autumn winter 2012 collection 'in the rough' 

designer miriam with our mica necklaces.. the mica pendant was the big seller of the night!

intern sarah showing shoppers our sale merchandise and telling them 

about our studio shopping series every third wednesday of the month!

once the buzz of trying on dresses settled the shoppers moved to the 4th floor for the fashion show..

miriam originally met kelly (the model above) during her junior year in college 

for her school show.  she was so excited to find out that she would be wearing 

the first look for the miriam cecilia segment.. it is crazy how life will go full circle.

we loved our first showing with style chicago and as always enjoyed working with zzazz 

productions on the fashion show prep.  we look forward to working with them all again!

blossoms & butterflies

the air is warm this morning.. you can feel the humidity in the wind..

there is a sweet aroma in the air and the people walking by are not 

the only ones hustling to work. there are a million butterflies & a few 

bumble bees just down the studio swarming the lilacs

what a sight to see on this treasured morning.. may you all find such joy in your work today!

blossoming collections

with the new season of spring comes new adventures...

this friday we will be unveiling our autumn winter 2012 collection titled 'in the rough' 

at the 'art of fashion' runway show by style chicago.  it is always amazing to see our 

collections go from just an idea to under the spotlights on the runway.  

but just like the seasons, as one collection comes into full bloom a new one is just 

beginning to bud.  miriam is busy sketching away the new spring summer 2013 collection.  

time seems to fly by... we must grasp life each and every day and take it all in... 

because before we know it.. a new collection is upon us.
