date dress

a dear friend of ours came into the studio other day to scope out the new pieces in 

the studio. she set her sights on the a/w '12 jet dress from the 'in the rough' collection.

miriam soon received a message that she needed it ready sooner to wear on 

a very important date this weekend... little did she know that while it was 

being designed and sampled it was referred to as... the date dress.

life has a way of perfectly aligning and bringing the right dress into the right hands for the right night.

sizzling summer shopping

whether you are downtown or roaming your neighborhood, you can find miriam cecilia all over Chicago this week!

we will have our tent set up on tuesday and wednesday at the daley plaza during the early afternoon with a fashion show an 12 noon.  

if you aren't able to make it downtown, stop by the diversey designer series this wednesday and shop our deals at the studio!

what makes a woman smile

june weddings have come to an end but the excitement for late summer and fall weddings is starting to grow in the studio!

we just finished a beautiful chiffon halter gown for a mother-of-the-groom for a late august wedding. 

we love the drape of the pleats and the smile on the woman's face as she slipped it on for the first time.

every woman just wants to feel beautiful and we love creating dresses that accent their inner and outer beauty.

our windows are shimmering with excitement for independence day!

what better way to celebrate america's birthday then with silver sequins and glitter bow silk blouses!

so stay cool these next few days in light flowy garments..
